Trail Highlights: Both routes feature a short and easy multi-purpose paved path along the Farmington River in a wooded area, as well as the original meeting house, a walk around the Palisado Cemetery (graves of Connecticut notables Oliver Ellsworth and Gov. Roger Wolcott) and houses dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th Centuries around the Green. In the center of town is an interesting old train station. The 10K route additionally goes through the Loomis Chaffee campus, a private co-ed boarding school.
