Event comments
The trail begins with a walk through the campus of Valparaiso University and continues through downtown Valparaiso. Route is map guided and incorporates relatively level sidewalks and paved streets beneath the mighty oaks and maples of Valparaiso, Indiana, a stopover along the historic 1928 route of the Lincoln Highway.

Event information
Start Point 24 hours per day, seven days per week (Central Time Zone). At the Registration desk ask for the Volksmarch/Walk box. Pets must be kept on leashes and are not allowed in buildings, except as permitted by law. Please clean up after your pets. Carry water along route. Event credit only.

Driving to the start box
Intersection of US 30 & Silhavy (frontage road to N of US 30 which is used to access Bob Evans), and follow Silhavy W to the blue Fairfield sign. Central Indiana go N of Indianapolis on US 31 approx 116 miles to US 30. W 40 miles to Valparaiso. Fairfield Inn on right a quarter mile past SR 49. Fairfield Inn & Suites serves as Start Point.
