Event information
Raley's Hours 6 am to 11 pm. (530) 587-0125 Elevation 6,000 ft. Walk during daylight hours. Snow/ice cancels walk. All paved, undulating expanded river view trail. Variable shade. Information signs pertaining to historic sites along Truckee River. Numerous viewing benches. View of 3 volcanoes. Restrooms at the beginning of trail.

Driving to the start box
10001 Soaring Wy. Truckee, CA 96161 Walk-box is located upstairs in Loft.From Hwy. #80 take exit 188B for CA-89/267 S toward Sierraville/Lake Tahoe. Turn right onto CA- 267 S for 1.4 mi. Turn Left onto Soaring Wy. At traffic circle, take the first exit and stay on Soaring Wy. Exit the traffic circle onto Soaring Wy. Turn Right into Raley's parking lot. After registering, there will be a short drive to the starting point. (See driving directions in walk instructions.)
