Event comments
This is a former Turnaround Trekkers walk.This walk is also available in the OSB. Boardwalks are slippery when wet and some portions present tripping hazards. Use Caution.WOC - Palm, Park, Ped Bridge, Playground, Railroad, Salon/Spa, Swimming Pool, Trail, University, Urgent Care and Used. ESVA - Brewery, Rails to Trails, Medical Facilities.

Event information
Walk daily, dawn to dusk. Route begins at the hospital. A scenic flat route on boardwalks, paved paths and streets along Astoria River walk to Alderbrook and back. Riverwalk is itself a city park and route passes through Violet LaPlante Park in Alderbrook. Passes a couple of museums. Find the Labyrinth by the Astoria Hospital in the Park across from the West Parking Lot. Listen to the Sea Lions chatter along the Columbia River.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:
2111 Exchange Street, Astoria OR 97103. US 30 to Astoria. From the east, turn left onto Exchange (opposite to the Shell Station) to Hospital parking at 20th & Exchange. From the west, turn right onto 20th Street to Hospital parking. Enter the West Lobby through the revolving door and go left to find the wooden file cabinet next to the wheelchairs. If West Lobby entrance is closed, use Emergency entrance to gain access.
