Event comments

This route goes north to the ever expanding UNR campus. Founded in 1874, the oldest buildings surround the expansive tree-lined quad. You'll also pass Manzanita Lake, the Honor Court, School of Journalism, Crowley Student Union and Lawlor Event Center. The other highlight is Rancho San Rafael, largest park in the county. The former ranch now features an arboretum, labyrinth garden, pond, dog park, picnic pavilions and museum. In September it hosts the largest free hot air balloon rally in the country. The route also includes downtown Reno and the popular River Walk along the Truckee.
