Marin County. There are 4 other walks available in addition to the 24K walk: 10K or 5K Mill Valley walks, and 14K or 10K Sausalito walks. Mill Valley is a charming smaller town (less than 5 sq miles) home to a few celebrities. The 5K takes you thru tree line streets and into a cute downtown. The 10K will take you to a small spring waterfall and you will see coastal redwood trees as great as others in California and homes that exceed most in California. Sausalito offers stunning views, rich history, diverse attractions, and bohemian lifestyle. Also see a charming waterfront promenade and an old community of wooden houseboats.
