Event information

Both routes of this walk start at the Boardman Marina parking lot shelter with the petroglyphs. You will walk around the small park and see what is called "Lake Umatilla". Past some old locust trees (these are the only remnants of the orginial Boardman) to the Marina. (10K) Go past the RV park to an old groove of cottonwood and russian olive trees to the Historic Captain Al James barge tugboat, past a veterans' memorial. Walk along the side of the Columbia River to Marine Drive into town going over the railroad overpass bridge. Walk through the quiet town and community neighborhood.
