Event comments

Part of this walk will be in older neighborhoods and part of the Old Spanish Trail that went through San Antonio during the 20's and 30's. Also, there will be a loop around Woodlawn Lake. Check out the web site OST100Kahl@aol.com for the weekend schedule of fun events. There is no registration fee. It is asked that you register for the complimentary breakfast and lunch on Friday 22 March.Saturday 23 March is the sanctioned volksmarch ( walk )with the start window from 9 to 11. At 2pm Model T Fords with dignitaries will leave San Pedro Park on N. Floresand horses and wagons will head east bound. At 2:30 the parades will arrive at City Hall 0 - mile marker for rededication.On Sunday vintage and modern vehicles will line up at Kirby Middle School for a motorcade to McQueeney whereparticipants will receive a complimentary picnic lunch.

Driving to the start

219 Alexander St.; corner of Cincinnati and Alexander. Going west take exit 568A and a left on Cincinnati; Going east take exit 568 to right on Cincinnati; Look for a blue canopy on the right before the large hanging sign that says Josephine Tobin.
