Event comments
The route is completely on the hills of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with its beautiful redwoods, unique arboretum and bridge system over deep ravines. Come enjoy the beautiful sculptures and murals throughout the campus. This will be a walk to savor, so plan extra time for this one! The walk is very hilly with many stairs.

Driving to the start
East remote parking lot, UC Santa Cruz campus, 95054Driving directions: From Hwy 880 southbound, continue onto Hwy 17 south to Santa Cruz for about 35 miles. At the Junction of Hwy 1, take the exit Hwy 1 North towards Half Moon Bay. This road becomes Cabrillo Hwy and then Mission St.Turn Rt at Highland Avenue , then LEFT on High Street. Proceed to intersection of Bay and Coolidge;turn RIGHT on Coolidge to enter the campus. LEFT at Hagar, then enter the East Remote parking lot on your right. Park near entrance in Lots 1 or 2.
