Event comments
After registering for the walk in the parking lot of the Bison Center, you will drive to the Barnes Canyon Trailhead, near the Custer State Park airport. This is an out and back walk on a 4.7 two-track road. Choose your distance from the 5k, 10k or 15k options. This walk is available both days for the start and finish times as posted.

Event information
Unlike the first two walks in the park this year, you will need a Custer State Park Sticker for this walk. The cost of a 7 day state park sticker is $20. payable at the entrance.

Driving to the start
From Custer State Park, turn onto the Wildlife Loop until you reach the Bison Center. Registration will be in the parking lot. You will then drive to the Barnes Canyon Trailhead by the Custer State Park Airport. Follow the yellow BHVA signs.
