Event comments

After registering for the walk in the parking lot of the Bison Center, follow the trail around the Bison Trail Loop, then through the area surrounding the bison corrals. You know there are buffalo/bison in the area so be watchful and respectful of them. This walk is available both days for the start and finish times as posted.

Event information

Unlike the first two walks in the park this year, you will need a Custer State Park Sticker for this walk. The cost of a 7 day state park sticker is $20. payable at the entrance.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start

From Custer State Park, turn onto the Wildlife Loop until you reach the Bison Center. Registration will be in the parking lot. Follow the yellow BHVA signs.
