EVENT INFORMATION: Enjoy a easy-to-moderate hike on the beautiful Centennial Trail through lands just southeast of Fort Meade. Hikers will start at the Alkali Creek Campground and traverse a well-maintained, single-track trail through sweeping grasslands and foothills. The hike will loop back to the campground, with optional short add-on loops and a kid-friendly nature path if desired. If walkers want credit for 10k they will need to repeat part of the trail. This is our annual walk in conjunction with the Sturgis Area of Commerce. Kadence Gleason, Assistant Director, Sturgis Chamber of Commerce, (605) 347-2556 is our contact there if you need more information about the trail specifics.
