Event information
There is a $5/person entrance fee (and the $4 walk fee) unless you have a Texas State Park Pass. The park is closed periodically for maintenance and hunts. During Oct-Mar, two of the routes are open only 10am-3pm. Check the website (https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/south-llano-river) or call (325) 446-3994 for updates.

Driving to the start box
1927 Park Road 73, Junction, Texas 76848. From Exit 456 of Interstate-10, turn south toward Junction (481). 48 merges with 377 (N Main Street). Follow 377 south (turns right at N 11th Street) 4.2 miles to Park Road 73 (on left).
