Event comments
Begins on the Interurban trail, a former rail line, then by the Tukwila City Park, through portions of the Tukwila Trail, by historic sites in the Tukwila "highlands" and down to the Riverwalk along the Green River greenbelt to Fort Dent Park, returning on the Interurban. Walk is on sidewalks, dirt trails & paved bicycle trails. The first part of the 10K has some gradual uphill and downhill sections, the 5K is rated 1A. Restrooms available at the start, seasonally in Tukwila City Park and Joseph Foster Memorial Park, at the Tukwila Library (Nat'l Hist. Register) when open.

7200 S 156th St., Tukwila. I-5 NB, Exit 154; I-5 SB, Left Exit 154B and merge onto I-405 NB toward Renton. Take Exit 1 (WA181/West Valley Hwy). At bottom of ramp go straight through intersection onto S. 156th St. From I-405 SB Exit 1: Right onto Interurban/West Valley to 2nd light. Left onto S. 156th St. Park on the street. Ask at the front desk for the walk box.
