Event comments
Walk the 7K Icicle Gorge loop forest trail along both sides of Icicle Creek with views of the creek and the Cascade Mountains. You cross two bridges over the creek. In the late summer and fall, the vine maples turn brilliant red and there are ripe huckleberries to pick. The Gorge Trail is fairly level with a couple very small hills and is well-maintained as a relatively easy family friendly walking trail. The 3K Chatter Creek trail is a hiking trail with 450 feet of elevation gain. You hike to a wooden pedestrian bridge over the creek with small waterfalls and rapids at the turn around point. WA State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Chelan, Strolling Along the Rivers.
