Trail is rated 1, an easy walk on sidewalks and park trails. Route takes walkers through Historic Ashland with its serene landscapes, historic architecture and trains that rumble through downtown following the main street. This route also passes through the beautiful campus of Randolph-Macon College, wooded park trails, residential streets with historic homes, historic business district with a city hall and athletic fields. Qualifies for Virginia Find the Love special program, Par for the Course, Step to the Beat, Town Halls/City Halls.

VC daily 9 am - 5 pm. Closed New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Route takes walkers through Historic Ashland with its serene landscapes, historic architecture and trains that rumble through downtown following the main street. This route also passes through the beautiful campus of Randolph-Macon College and a historic downtown business center.

112 N Railroad Ave. 800-897-1479. Approx 12 miles N of Richmond, VA. I-95 either direction, Exit 92 (Ashland). Rt 54 W (England St.) to Ashland. VC located in old Ashland Railroad Depot, intersection of Rt 54 (England St.) and Railroad Ave.
