Event comments

You can start at either of 2 trailheads in Cascade Locks. This hike may be done as a one way from either the Herman Creek Trailhead to the Bridge of the Gods Trail head or the reverse for 10k. Or as an alternative the hike may be done from either trail head to the Herman Creek Pinnacles and return. The trail from the Herman Creek Trailhead connects to the PCT but the distance counts toward the PCT Challenge. The route from the Bridge of the Gods Trailhead includes Dry Creek Falls.

Event information

Pit Toilets at Herman Creek Trailhead or in Cascade Locks at Marine Park or in establishments in town. None on the trail. Recommend sturdy hiking shoes or boots and poles as the trail is rooted and rocky in places. Check for trail conditions and snow early in the season. No cell service away from I-84. Northwest Forest Pass or equivalent required to park.
