Event comments
This part of the Heritage Rail Trail connects John Rudy Park in East Manchester Twp. to Loucks Mill Rd. parking lot off of Rt. 30. With the exception of the section of the walk within John Rudy Park, which is in the full sun, the walk is shaded. Much of the walk is along the Codorus Creek.

Event information
Walk only in daylight hours. Start box will be under bench outside the entrance to the Administrative Headquarters and will be accessible at all times. After you register, you will drive a very short distance to the entrance of John Rudy County Park. Driving directions will be in the box. Restrooms are at the start point. Portable facilities are available at the ball fields.

400 Mundis Race Road, York, PA 17406. Take PA I-83 to Exit 24, Emigsville. Travel east on Church Rd (Rt. 238) approx .7 mi to junction with Rt. 181. Turn rt on Rt. 181 and go .4 mi to light at Emig Rd. Turn left onto Emig Rd and go .5 mi before turning left on Mundis Race Rd. Travel approx. 1 mi to Park Headquarters, which is a brownstone farm house on left before the second park sign to John Rudy County Park.
