Event comments
Cloudcroft is small mountain community at 8700 feet. Course is along city streets which are a mixture of paved and unpaved with a couple of steep hills. Goes through historic shopping district. Alternate 5km is through pine and aspen forest on the edge of town with amazing views. Wonderful history museum with many historic buildings brought from surrounding countryside. There is a Little Free Library in front of Instant Karma on Burro Street which is on route.
