Event comments
This trail is now revised from before to include both new and older sections.Trail starts along the Rio River for 1 km and then goes up very short, steep hill and then into main shopping area. The 10 km route also goes into nearby housing area. The beautiful start along the river is also a Fairy Trail with Fairy houses hidden along the way. At the start of the river part of the trail, there is a map to show where to look for the houses. If no maps. look for fairy wands painted on pavement--on left side when houses hidden on left side and on right side when houses hidden on right side. Elk often seen along this trail especially early in the morning.
