Choice of 2 trails (or both). Explore historic Fort Bayard which was established after the Civil War on a 4k walk. The fort later served as an army hospital. Explore the Bataan Death March Recreation Complex and Veterans Memorial, the Fort Bayard National Cemetery, and the old fort buildings. Then drive 3 miles to the Dragonfly Trail, a moderate hike along well-groomed trails with a couple of creek crossings.
