World Heritage Site. The route includes San Juan Mission, the Espada Aqueduct which is a National Historical Landmark, and Espada Mission. Open 9am - 5pm. The Visitors Center is closed on major holidays.

Driving to the start box
6701 San Jose Dr, 78214 (Mission Rd at Roosevelt Ave) Telephone: 210-932-1001. 5 miles south of downtown San Antonio on Roosevelt Ave. (536 Spur). After Pizza Hut on your right, turn Left at Napier. Continue with directions below to reach Visitor Center and the walk box. From US-281 South, exit at Military Dr and go right past Brooks City Base to Roosevelt Ave. Turn right on Roosevelt Ave. and follow the National Parks signs to the San Jose Visitor Center. After registering, drive to San Juan Mission to begin the walk.
