There is a choice of walking north from start point to Roads End Park or walking south to Taft community. South walk is seasonal from April through Sept & not at high tide. Both have street access.

Event information
Check tide levels before walking. North beach 10K goes to Roads End State Recreation Site. South beach walk is seasonal from April through Sept and not at high tide. It goes by the Inn at Spanish Head and goes to historic Taft community. There is a 5k on north walk & 6K on south. The combined 10ks can be done as a 20K but only between April & Sept. and not at high tide. Both have street access on return to start point, South beach walk goes through the attractive the Olivia Beach neighborhood. Neither can be walked during stormy weather

D Sands Condominium Motel, 171SW US-101, near D River Wayside, Lincoln City, OR (541-994-5244). Lobby open from 10 AM to 7 PM. Walk box available in lobby located on the floor to the left of the refreshment stand. Payment to be sent to club. Park at the nearby public D River Wayside and not at the Motel even for registering since it is very difficult to turn Left by car from the motel to nearby Wayside where the walk begins.
