Watson Mill Bridge State Park is the home of Georgia's longest covered bridge (229 ft). The bridge is adjacent to a ten-ft-tall dam that is over 300 ft wide with the Broad River constantly cascading.

Event comments
For more than 25 years, the park was focused mainly around the covered bridge, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, and provided camping, picnicking, nature trails, and fishing, preserving a link to the culture of a bygone era. The bridge crosses a natural flowing river, which is surrounded by rich natural resources of flora and fauna. The scenery and walking trails are some of the best located in Georgia's Piedmont Region.

The park requires a $5 parking fee. Watson Mill Bridge State Park is the home of Watson Mill Bridge, Georgia's longest covered bridge (229 ft). It is one of the most scenic foothill parks in the state with many miles of hiking trails. Campsites are available.
