Event information
Daily 7am-Dusk, Closed Easter, Christmas and Thanksgiving. Trail is rated 1C. Route takes you along a scenic causeway, through parks, the restored downtown historic district, over the ruins of the circa 1760's fort (site of extensive archaeological digs), across the Indian River along Historic Flagler Ave and onto an expansive Atlantic beach. A new 20km option takes walkers through the Smyrna Dunes Park and around the point opposite the Ponce Inlet lighthouse.

Publix Super Market, 709 E 3rd Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169. 386-428-6465. From I-95 Exit 249 to Hwy 44. E on Hwy 44 for 5.8 miles. Past Sun Trust Bank right to Publix parking lot. Walk box is at Customer Service counter.
