Event comments

The event is sanctioned for 10K (6.2 miles) made up of 4k and 6k loops. Trails are a well-maintained mix of grassland and woodland. Includes Big Island Trail and Cormorant Trail on one loop and Great Marsh Trail and Oak Hill Trail on the other loop. Okay for outdoor strollers. Every NSTT event offers a “participant picnic” available to all walkers for a small donation to cover our costs. The menu may vary, but the food is always tasty and usually cooked on a grill! So plan to spend some time visiting and grab a bite to eat, while supporting NSTT events in Minnesota State Parks.
