Event comments
Trail has 1499 foot gain. 6.4 miles out and back. There are stairs to the lookout on top of the peak. The walk can be strenuous when weather is hot so carry plenty of water as water will not be available to along the trail.

Driving to the start
From Rapid City take Hwy 16 to Hwy 87 to Sylvan Lake--sign up will be close to the Trail #4 Start Point.
