Event comments
Hill City Quilt Show and Sale will be held at the school. The CCC Museum at the Visitor's Center (just outside town), Geology Museum and Railroad Museum and Train are well loved sites as well in Hill City. The walk is on sidewalks through town and residential areas and along roadsides. The trail will go past a new housing development and Major Lake. Take the time to window shop the stores and art galleries along the route. If time allows consider a ride on the 1880 Train to Keystone and back.

Driving to the start
Take Hwy 16/385 north from Custer. Take Hwy 16/385 south from Rapid City. Tracy Park is on Railroad Ave as you turn left coming from Rapid City on the truck bypass or right on bypass if coming from Custer.
