Event comments
This walk is in Mellette County one of the last 2 walks in SD to offer a volksmarch. Both the 5k and 10k walks will be on city streets, past the Mellette County Courthouse and on the bike path with great views of the Little White River Valley. The 10k walk will go down the hill to an old 1924 dam that was built on the Little White River. The 10k will also walk around the impressive rodeo grounds.

Driving to the start
From I-90 take exit 192 and go south on Hwy 83 for 25 miles. At the junction of Hwy 44 turn left and go 5 blocks, City Park will be on the right. Look for yellow BHVA signs. City Park, 519 Parkway St., White River, SD
