Event comments

The walk will be on sidewalks, streets and the Freedom Trail (paved). It will go through downtown Hot Springs alongside historic sandstone buildings and along Fall River. The 10k will also include a short trail to Chautaqua Park and continues along a county road with scenic trees, red rock and water.

Driving to the start

From Rapid City take Hwy 79 south to Hwy 385 and turn right. Continue into town and go through the light, at the next intersection continue straight across, up the hill to Pioneer Museum. Follow the yellow BHVA signs.
