The high canyon wall that surrounds the ranch shelter it from wind; couple that with the trail along Sand Creek and this is a fabulous walk. The Ranch A Lodge is on the National Historic places.

Event comments
The 5k walk is on a gravel road through the ranch and includes the "John Schoffstall" Memorial Trail. The 10k will include the 5k with a part of it including a portion of the Dugout Gulch Trail.

Driving to the start
Take I-90 to Exit 205 at Beulah, WY. Ranch A is located 5 miles south of Exit 205. Watch for yellow BHVA signs.
