Event comments

Recreational activities at GTM Research Reserve are primarily based around the rich variety of natural resources found here. Our walk will wind past the tidal marsh, and through hammock, scrub and flatwoods in the interior portion of the GTM Research Reserve. This site is a great place to view falcons and many other bird species. You will also have views of the Tolomato River.

Walking fee is 4 dollars or one punch on our punch card.(The cost is 35 dollars which is good for 10 walks with us!)Entrance Fees: $3.00 per vehicle up to 8 people, $1.00 per Pedestrian and Extra Passengers in vehicle beyond 8. Restrooms are available at the start point but not along the route. Carpooling is encouraged!

Driving to the start

505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. The map and directions take you to the dam on Guana River Rd. You will go straight on Guana River Road past the Education Center and over the dam to the parking area on the west side of the water.
