This walk is along the dike and through a campground. You may see eagles, herons, seals, etc. The estuary of the Skagit River is the most biologically productive of all major estuaries on Puget Sound. Padilla Bay supports one of the largest known wintering populations of the peregrine falcons in North America.

Park at Bayview/Edison Road South Trailhead.There is a port-a-potty at the start of the trailhead. Walk starts at Padilla Bay South Trailhead.
