The SMART train now comes to Windsor, just west of the Town Green, from the Larkspur Ferry and many stops north. Windsor has a free shuttle that you can take to the CVS walk start.

Pets are not allowed in the store. Store Hours are Mon-Sat 8-10, Sun 8-8. Holidays 8-8. Call to confirm holiday hours 707-837-8858. Ask for the Walk Box binder at the check out counter. Customers have priority. On the walk you will see the Windsor Historical Society Museum inside the Hembree House Cultural Center, open Fri-Sun 9:30-4:30. Visit the Town Green on the west side of town with its Time Line, Cravin's ice cream and old fashioned candy store. Many other interesting shops, restaurants and events (see Comments). $4 fee for all walkers.

Driving to the start box
9030 Brooks Rd So, Windsor, CA 95492. Take Hwy 101 north from Santa Rosa about 8 1/2 miles to Exit 498, Old Redwood Hwy exit toward Central Windsor. Stay straight to go onto Lakewood Dr. Take the 1st left onto Brooks Rd. 9030 will be on your right. Same shopping center as Safeway and See's Candy!
