Event information
The Park encompasses the field of battle for the Battle of Saratoga fought here in 1777. American forces defeated the British in one of the most significant battles in world history and the first time a British army had surrendered. The battle is remembered as the "Turning Point of the American Revolution".The park includes a paved tour road for cars, bicycles and walkers which is open from 9-5 from April through November, weather permitting. Trails throughout the park are open all year. It is a no fee park. The Visitors Center is open from 9-5 except on Tuesdays and some holidays. (Check park
