Event comments

This trail takes you from the Lititz Rec Center to Ephrata and back. It begins and ends on steets of Ephrate. The route will then follow the Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail. Except for the ends in Lititz and Ephratra, the route goes past Pennsylvania Dutch farms in Lancaster County. Two highligts are the Gnome Village and the monument to Major Dick Winters.

Event information

Lititz Rec Center is closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Center hours on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day are 7A-noon. The turn around for the ride in Ephratra is just past the monument of Major Dick Winters of Band of Brothers fame.

Driving to the start box

The Lititz Community Recreation Center. 301 W Maple St, Lititz, PA 17543 ---The center of Lititz is where Broad St (Rt 501) and E Main St (Rt 772) intersect. Go south on S Broad St and turn right onto W Orange St (Rt 772). Pass Warwick High School. Turn right onto Limerick St. Turn right onto W Maple St. The Lititz Rec Center will be on the left.
