Event comments
This easy walk on the York Heritage Rail Trail begins at the Hanover Junction access area and heads south to the Glen Rock area before returning, covering 14K. The route passes the historic Seitzville Mill, built in 1866, which once produced about fifty barrels of flour a day and served as a vital part of the local farming community. As you continue, the trail leads into the charming borough of Glen Rock, where the 14K route passes the well-known Glen Rock Inn before turning back. Along the way, you'll enjoy a mix of rural scenery, gentle grades, and glimpses of York County's rich industrial past, making for a pleasant and historically rich outing.

Event information
Walk box on front porch, under bench, accessible at all times. Walk from dawn to dusk. Easy walk on the York Heritage Rail Trail from Hanover Junction access area south to Glen Rock access area and back.

90 Indian Rock Dam Rd., York, PA17403 (717)741-3485. From north or south take I-83 to exit 14, the Leaders Heights exit. Turn left off ramp if coming from south, right if coming from north, onto Leaders Heights Rd., PA 182. West: proceed to S. George St (the road name changes to Indian Rock Dam Rd). Proceed on Indian Rock Dam Road. The Farm Store is then a half mile on the left. You will register here and drive 10 miles to the start point.
