Keystone is an old mining town; the start point is an old mine that offers mine tours and gold panning. The new Keystone (6k walk) has tourist shops and a variety of places to eat. The walk takes you through a chainsaw art display and ends with a great view of Mt. Rushmore.

Event information

Start/finish times; June, July, August 8 am - 8 pm. May and October 9 am - 6 pm. April 9 am - 5 pm. There are two walk choices. A 4k walk is on old Keystone streets with many historic landmarks. The 6k walk is in new Keystone with tourist attractions and the 1880 Train. Do both walks for 10k. An optional 5k for both walks is provided.

604 Blair Street; Keystone ,SD. Take 16A out of Rapid City (25 miles). Turn left at signal light in Keystone going about 1/2 mile (US40). Start point in on the right.
