Event information
This walk goes along the repaired Riverwalk in the city of Danville. It is a paved rails-to-trails and follows along the Dan River. Science Center is open: Wednesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m; Sunday 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ; Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Driving to the start box
677 Craghead St, Danville, VA. From the North: On 29S, take exit 58W about 2 miles to the second stoplight at Main St. Turn LEFT and continue over the bridge to Craghead St. Turn LEFT and continue about a mile to the "Crossing at the Dan." Park in the Science Center parking lot.
