The La Chute River flowing through Ticonderoga was strategically important for connecting Lake Champlain to Lake George in the Hudson River Valley. Control of this area was most important to the outcome of the Revolutionary War. Star Trek enthusiasts have come to the right place. The Trekonderoga attraction charges a $22 entry fee ($18 group rate).

Driving to the start
Park at the lot containing the ChargePoint Charging Station, 1494 McCormick St., Ticonderoga, NY 12883. Directions from I-87: Take exit 24 to NY 9N N for 31 miles to Ticonderoga. Continue straight on Montcalm St, left on Tower Ave past McCormick St into parking lot. After parking, take crosswalk across Tower Ave and turn right to Visitor Center, 137 Montcalm St.
