Event comments

In May 1775, early in the Revolutionary War, American militia led by Seth Warner captured Crown Point from the small British garrison, shortly after Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold took nearby Fort Ticonderoga. Both 5k and 10k walkers can follow the Lake Champlain Bridge Heritage Area Quest Map and earn a commemorative Heritage Area coin. You'll walk the bridge, see French and British ruins and an August Rodin sculpture on a lighthouse. 10Kers will continue on through wooded and grassy trails and walk through a campsite.
