START & FINISH at American Legion Post 139, 3445 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201. FRIDAY: Event Day Registration 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, AVA/IVV Welcome Walk: 5/ +/- & 10 +/-. Start between 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm. Finish by 6:00 pm. BIKE: 30 km, IVV credit only $4.00. Hours 10:00 - 3:00 pm. Swim times TBD. Opening Ceremony: 4 pm. SATURDAY: 42 km walk start: 7:00 - 9:00 am. 21 +/- km start 8:00 am - 10:00 am; 6/12 +/- km start 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. Bike: 30 km, IVV credit only $4.00. Hours: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Swim: IVV credit only TBD. Social Gathering: 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm. All Finish by 5:00 pm. International Dinner: Rockland's BBQ at 6:30 pm (sold out). SUNDAY: 21 +/- km start 8:00 am -10:00 am, 6/12 +/- km start 9:00 am -12 noon. Bike: 30 km, IVV credit only $4.00. Hours: 8:00 am- 2:00 pm, Swim times TBD. The Twenty Fifth US FreedomWalk Festival will take place over the weekend of October 16-18, 2026. The US FreedomWalk Festival® is a weekend long, non-competitive, social walking challenge bringing participants of all ages and abilities together for fun, fitness, and international friendship. Virginia Square is a growing neighborhood popular for its walkability, coffee shops and local restaurants. There's a unique blend of institutions, education, ... Metro acceptable to the heart of the nation's capital.

LOCATION: All walks begin and end at the American Legion Post 139, 3445 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201, .3 of a mile from the Virginia Square Metro-rail Station N Monroe St, Arlington, VA 22203.The station which is part of the Washington Metro-rail system (www.wmata.com). Paid Garage Parking TBD. There is paid parking available on the local streets and parking can be a problem. Please arrive early and pay attention to parking restrictions on meters. WALKING DIRECTIONS to American Legion Post #139, 3445 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201. Exit Virginia Square Metro Station & head NW toward N. Fairfax Drive. Turn onto N. Monroe St. and head north. Continue straight a couple blocks. Turn right onto Washington Blvd. to destination on your right.
