Event information
The 5k walk is mostly on city streets, paved paths, and one footbridge over a small creek. The 10k walk also entails woods and slight elevation changes with roots and rocks.

Driving to the start
Altamont Fairgrounds, Gate #2, Sheep and Goat Barn, near 79 Arlington St, Altamont, NY 12009. From Rt. 20 (Western Ave.) in Guilderland, take 146 West for 5.4 miles. Left on Arlington St. for 0.4 miles to main Altamont Fair entrance. Turn left at the entrance, proceeding with the woods on the left and parking area on the right. Take first right between parking areas and park near gate #2. (Take proof of age with you to Gate #2 as seniors gain free entrance that day!) After going through gate, registration is at first building on left, the Sheep and Goat Barn.
