Event comments

This event consists of two 6-K loops, which are identified as the North Loop and South Loop. Together these loops offer a total distance of 12-K. Both loops start and finish at the same location. The details are provided with the map and directions. The 6-K North loop makes use of the Park's existing trail system, which passes through the Tippecanoe River Nature Preserve and along the banks of the Tippecanoe River. The 6-K South Loop makes use of the Park's existing trail and road system, which includes a shared use trail with equestrians. Along the South Loop you may encounter sand and moderate inclines. Both loops are beneath hardwood forest, which provides good overhead cover. Mosquitoes and ticks may be encountered on both Loops.
