The walk will start at the newer Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School. The walk will be mainly in residential areas with over 1 km in a local historic cemetery. The 10 km route will go by expensive homes many with great views of Portland and the Columbia River.

Driving to the start

4801 Idaho Street. From I-5 take exit 1C Mill Plain (northbound) turn right on Mill Plain Blvd. (southbound) turn left on Mill Plain. Drive 2.7 mile to Brandt Road (traffic light at top of hill). LEFT on Brandt Rd to 13th St. RIGHT on 13th St. to Boise Ave. LEFT on Boise to Idaho. School is on right
