Event comments
Relaxing, wooded trail loop of 4.5 miles plus in/around the grounds of the springs themselves. Both routes include Old Methuselah, a 500+ year-old Cypress Tree. 5K & 10K groups will start together and the 5Kers will turn-around at the designated point.Water, and snacks are available at the start point. We prefer that you carry your own drinking water. Members of the Happy Wanderers may meet for lunch after the event at a local restaurant. Info at the Registration table.

Event information
This is a Traveling Guided Walk - there will be no AVA signage or late registration. We'll register walkers from 8:30 to 9:00 am and the groups will depart around 9:00 am. Look for the Happy Wanderers banner. Registration will be in a pavilion, or, SUV tailgate in the main parking area. There is a $4 fee for all participants covering administrative costs for the event and for the AVA/IVV event stamp used to sanction/record the event. Parking is $6.00 per vehicle upon entry, or $4.00 for a single-occupant.

Driving to the start
601 Ponce Deleon Blvd. De Leon Springs, FL 32130 From I-95 N/S exit 261 for US-92 west towards DeLand. Drive 16 miles to US-17 / N Woodland Ave. Turn right, then 5.8 miles north to the signs for the park entrance, and a left turn on Ponce Deleon Blvd. Go 0.8 miles to park entrance. From I-4, exit 114 Orange City to FL-472 for 3 miles then right to merge with US-17 north for 2 miles to FL-15 / E Taylor Rd. Turn left on E Taylor and continue for 7 miles then a left to re-join US-17 north side of DeLand. Follow 3 miles on US-17 to park signs and left onto Ponce Deleon Blvd, then 0.8 miles to park entrance.
