Event comments
Start at the beach and follow the trail around the lake to the dam where you walk on the road over the bridge. The trail continues through the trees to a picnic shelter where grilled brats, chips and non-alcoholic drinks will be served. The trail continues on from there to the Gordon Stockade Fort where you turn around and return to the beach. The 10k walkers will then do the Stockade Lake Trail where there's great views of the Needles, Crazy Horse Memorial and Black Elk Peak.
