Event comments

We are using this event to continue the AVA's 50th Anniversary. We have an early start for this walk because Outlaw Ranch campers start arriving around noon. Plus BHVA is sponsoring a gathering at Way Park in Custer for a party and celebration. This will be a great opportunity for a meet and greet with members of BHVA and the AVA. Activities, treats, games and walk boxes for nearby seasonal walks (Custer, Hill City, and Mickelson) will be available for registration purposes. There are also seasonal and YR events at Angostura State Park, and in Hot Springs, Lead, Deadwood, Keystone, Spearfish, Sturgis and 3 in Rapid City but those walk boxes will remain in place. Wyoming is just west of Spearfish on I-90 and we have a seasonal walks in Sundance and at Devils Tower National Monument. In total in addition to Crazy Horse and Outlaw Ranch there are 16 other walks available. If you are a biker there are bikes in Sturgis and Rapid City. Take advantage of the opportunity to earn a BHVA incentive stamp while you are in the area.
