Event information
Suncoast Sandpipers do not have a "free" policy except for children under 13 who do not want volkssport credit. NEW WAF PROCEDURE! On Fri, Nov 6, it will not be necessary to check in at the hotel prior to walking at this event. You may proceed directly to the park, walk, and then go to the hotel. See official flier for start times. Note: park fees are: $5 per car with up to 8 occupants and $4 for single occupant vehicle. Be sure to carry water on the walk!

Driving to the start
Shelter 3, Oscar Scherer State Park, 1843 S. Tamiami Trail, Osprey FL 34229. From 1-75S, use the right 2 lanes to take exit 200 for FL-681S toward Venice/Osprey for 0.5 mi. Slight right to merge onto US-41 N/N Tamiami Trl toward Osprey for 1.8 mi. Right into Oscar Scherer State Park. After ranger booth, drive almost 1 mile to third right into the Nature Center parking lot.
