Willamette Wanderers are celebrating their 40th anniversary. Copies of the original walk map with historical notes will be available which will show how Salem looked 40 years ago. OTSVA: Gallery, Garden, Gazeso, High Schools, Historic Houses, Hospitals Quad, Parks, Pedestrian Bridges, Playground Structures, Railroads, Roses, University, X-Ray, Zone, Butterfly. Event information
This will be a self-guided walk without trail markings. But there will be a 5k & a 10K guided walk at 9:30am. Walk on paved sidewalks. Both routes focus on the 1989 10k walk designed by the Club which includes the State Capitol, Willamette Univ., Governor's Mansion, and the Bush Historic Residence. 5k route available.

Driving to the start
Salem Saturday Market, 865 Marion St NE, Salem between Summer & Winter Sts, Salem. Walk Starting point: use Salem Saturday Market entrance on Winter near Union. Continue straight for Booth #14 on right near entrance. Look for walk signs. Driving directions I-5, exit 256, Right (southbound) or Left (northbound) on Market Street for 1.7 miles; left on Summer for .5 mile; right on Marion & left into yellow parking lot.
